- Net people,
- After receiving several good suggestions about
- where to find a low-price Reno drive, I managed to get
- one. Thanks for all the advice.
-
- Now, I have a question that I cannot find answered
- in the manual. When is it "safe" to separate
- the player from base unit? I have a built-in aversion
- to unplugging computer equipment when anything is powered,
- but I don't know if the Reno has any safeguards to
- avoid problems.
-
- For example, right now, my Amiga is on and
- connected to the Reno (via a Zip Drive). The Reno is
- as off as it ever gets (the display is blank
- after pressing stop 3 times). Is it OK to separate
- the components now? Should the Reno be unplugged
- to be completely off? Should the Amiga be turned off
- before disconnecting?
-
- Any advice, as always, is appreciated.
-
- Thanks,
- Kenny
